Passat Pro's First Debut at Chengdu Auto Show
SAIC-Volkswagen Passat Pro was unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30, and reservations are now open.
The Passat Pro adopts the popular family-style dual-face design, which follows the same design language as the European Passat. The front of the Pioneer Edition is calm and sophisticated, while the front of the Star Edition is made of a dynamic, glossy surface. The black material and glossy front grille add a more technological feel to the front, while the Black Warrior sports package further enhances the vehicle's power, making it look cooler, blacker and more stylish. There are also 6 exterior colors and 4 new rims to meet the aesthetic needs of different consumers.
Passat Pro's IQ Light matrix LED headlights feature a new Beauty Eye daytime running light bar with a total of 144 high-brightness LED beads on each side; this uses Lingguang dot matrix LED at the rear of the car; the permeable taillights enhance the technological feel of the entire car.
Passat Pro's body size is 5006mm × 1850mm × 1489mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2871mm. The length of more than five meters provides a wide second-row splash area comparable to a C-class executive car.
With the new digital cockpit style and multi-screen interactive experience, Passat Pro brings technological impact directly to the eye. The 15-inch intelligent 2K sliding wide screen has a perfect 16:9 ratio as the visual focus. It is equipped with Qualcomm 8155 automotive-grade chip to provide smooth 5G communication and smooth human-computer interaction experience. The passenger entertainment screen and the 10.3-inch full digital LCD display together create a digital atmosphere. The W-HUD head-up display system and AR real-time navigation can project driving information into the driver's field of vision in real time; the intelligent vehicle connection system and iFlytek audio solution provide a comfortable operating experience.
In addition, the Passat Pro is equipped with the L2++ level IQ Pilot intelligent assisted driving system developed by the DJI vehicle team according to China's special road conditions. It can realize L2++ level driving assist functions in the range of 0-130km.
The Passat Pro is equipped with the golden power combination of the EA888 turbocharged engine and the DSG seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission. The maximum power is up to 162 kW and the maximum torque reaches 350 Nm. It takes only 7.6 seconds to reach 100 kilometers. The fuel consumption under 100 kilometers and comprehensive operating conditions is as low as 6.87 L/100 km, achieving the perfect integration of increased power and fuel economy.
